- PROP ARCHITECT is a Architecture and Interior design firm based in Bangalore, founded by Deepa S Bhat in 2013. What began as a design journey under the banners DIYAS, DESIGN2KONNECT, has now evolved into PROP ARCHITECT—a brand ready to explore the next frontier in luxury and sustainable design. Over the years, we have successfully delivered a diverse range of projects across residential, hospitality, resort, and hotel segments—each one tailored to context, functionality, and visual elegance.
- Our design philosophy is rooted in a deep appreciation for shapes, form, surface textures, spatial layouts, fixtures, and advanced technologies. We place equal emphasis on the choice of materials, fine craftsmanship, impeccable finishes, and the overall aesthetic harmony—ensuring every space we create is both innovative and enduring .

About THE Founder
- Deepa S Bhat, the founder and principal architect of PROP ARCHITECT, studied Architecture at SIT, Tumkur. With a professional journey spanning over a decade, she has contributed to reputed design and architecture firms such as IDIOM, TEAM 2, KGD, and DSP. During this time, she developed a deep understanding of diverse design typologies and project scales.
- Her passion for design and her drive to explore new creative possibilities in the built environment led to the founding of DIYAS, later evolving into DESIGN2KONNECT, and now established as PROP ARCHITECT.
- Deepa has worked on major township and large-scale projects, including landmark developments for clients like Huawei and Adani, gaining valuable expertise in handling complex programs, integrated planning, and high-performance design solutions. Her leadership is rooted in a commitment to thoughtful design that balances aesthetic elegance, functionality, and sustainability.
- She draws deep inspiration from Ar. B.V. Doshi, echoing his belief that architecture must be “for the people, by the people, and of the people.” Guided by this philosophy, she envisions design as a powerful tool to shape human experiences—focusing on context, community, and culture while creating spaces that are meaningful, livable, and lasting.
- For her, architecture is a magical experience—a medium to evoke emotion and elevate everyday living. She strives to breathe life into every project by creating a seamless dialogue between the indoor and the outdoor.
- Her designs are simple, elegant, and purposeful—where spaces themselves create form, flowing freely yet responsibly with an acute awareness of safety and sustainability.
